Compare these two links:

M2i and M3ti

According to these web pages, the M2 weighs 11 lbs. and the M3 weighs 10.5 lbs. Since the M3 has a bigger woofer (bigger magnet?) and the cabinet is taller and wider, shouldn't the M3 be the heavier speaker? If anyone has clarification I'd appreciate it as weight will make a difference in my installation.

Thanks, Bill

Good catch. It has to be a typo -- unless they keep a helium baloon in the M3ti...

That sounds like an assumption on your part, and you know what they say about ass-u-me?

I don't think I've ever *willingly* discussed weight before, but here goes:

The M2 11.4 Lb

The M3 12.8 Lb

I'm correcting wildly!

It's OK Amie. We won't tell. We are all very discrete.

Get it? discrete? You know, discrete channels? HT forum? Aw, who am I kidding? That sucked.

She used to post often but I think we scared her with that bizarre "sploched dog" thread a while back.
