I currently have M22's front, vp100, QS8's, and hsu stf-2 sub. Curious which bookshelfs would be better for the two rear to complete my system. I also like to listen to stereo with all channels. I may be able to pick up a pair of used M3Ti's, how would these be? I only have about a foot and a half from my couch to the back wall and the speakers need to be on stands. Is this too close to the listening position or would it be ok? Thanks alot.

I would think you might want to get the M2ti's instead of the M3ti's because of the tonal match with the M22ti for 7 channel stereo. As far as being close to the wall behiend the couch mine are at least 18 inches off the back wall and they sound great other than they are Qs8's. I would think the ports of the M2ti would be fine. I'm sure others will chime in here and make suggestions.

I think my Qs8's do a great job for music and movies, and they are much easier to mount if you have limited space....good luck...

Sirquack, do you listen to stereo in all channel? I have a Yamaha v750 and was wondering if two more QS8s would put too much strain on the receiver and/or affect the music quality. Thanks.

I have the Denon AVR2805, and I have used the 5 channel and 7 channel stereo mode, that I use occasionally, and it sounds pretty good. I just have regular CD's, not SACD's yet....some people that listen to SACD and DVD-A's like direct radiating (bookshelf) speakers for rears if they listen to a lot of music. I primarily use the good ole 2 channel mode for music listening and 7.1 for movies. But the Qs8's do a good job with music also, in my opinion...

Or how might this be, put the M22's to the rear and buy some M60's for the mains? thanks.
