Hi there, I want to know if the fact of placing a speaker on a top of a subwoofer may affect the sound? I'm planning to place a m22 on my 350 for saving space. Good idea? Thanks

I've seen it done, but I have no idea how it might affect the sound. Presumably the only problem could be if the speaker was vibrated off of the top of the sub.

I'm doing this right now, although I have a VP100 on top of my sub. If you look at some pics I posted, you can see I put a bit of no-slip mat between the two (look in the third last pic). Just trim it so it hides between the speakers (last pic) and it should be nearly invisible and stop it from sliding around or vibrating off. You should be able to pick it up at any big convenience store (I believe). I haven't compared with/without it for sound differences because I don't want to scratch up my sub, but as long as you place the speaker near the front of the sub (to avoid sound reflections), there's no reason it would change the sound at all (as far as I know). If you move your speakers later and the mat leaves a little bit of residue (like mine does), just wipe it off with a microfibre cloth. Works great and doesn't scratch at all.

I think putting the supplied rubber feet on the M22s would provide more than enough grip to keep the M22 on the sub.

I can't even slide my speakers on the night tables they are sitting on, I have to pick them up in order to move them.

I thought the supplied rubber feet only came with the towers. I'm sure my M22s didn't come with them.

Yep, M22's came with those rubber feet. They're small, so you may have missed them in the plastic bag which holds the manual. Go check right now!
