I was going through the setup and found an option to change the size of the speakers for surround. My receiver is setup for all small with the mains being large. Do I have to make the same changes in the DVD setup as well?

Does this player have analog outputs for 5.1? If not and you are connecting via HDMI or coax/fiber, your receiver will handle the speaker sizing.
