If Axiom QS4/QS8 surrounds are just tilted... - 11/02/07 03:24 AM
Hello all,
I'm just starting my Axiom research on what to buy and thought I'd start with this question...
Will the Axiom QS4/QS8 surrounds speakers still produce the amazing sound if they're just tilted...
I was hoping that I could use the QS4 or QS8 surrounds speakers by placing them on my entertainment unit like a bookshelf speaker but after reading more on the Axiom online product info I understand they cannot sit on a bookshelf and has to be elevated by using the Axiom stands or brackets. But I noticed a couple pictures in some of the forum threads where the QS4 or QS8 surrounds speakers are sitting flat on some boxes. If I can tilt them like an open book holder/easel on an entertainment unit will they still produce the amazing sound everyone talks about?
Thanks for reading...
I appreciate your thoughts and look forward to any advice and suggestions...
Dave
