Does the VP150 design, when used with the FMS CC aim the VP150 up at all, or is it horizontal? I would need an up angle or about 8 degrees to point it at ear level. How important is this?

If you look at the cabinet design, you can flip it over so it angles upward when sitting flat, you will have to flip the speaker grill cover over, so "Axiom" is not upside down.

In regards to the stand, I guess if the depth dimensions are the same it should work, but you might want to call Axiom to be sure.
