One of the black circular covers in the center of a speaker has fallen off. Can I glue that back in place? Crazy glue? Anything more specific for the job? WOuldn't want to ruin the speaker...
Thanks!
I think it would be OK just to glue the dust cap back in place. Best to call Axiom to make sure though and ask their advice on what type of glue would be best suited for the repair.
I will expect that Axiom will replace the driver.
Seems like this is the first time I've ever heard of a dust cover falling off.
I agree with Fred, call Axiom and I bet they'll replace it.
Good call FredK. That should be covered under warranty.
Can you post a picture?
Not sure I know what the driver looks like without the dust cap.
I guess this kinda sounds a bit morbid.
Still, I am curious.
LOL
'Driver without dust cover' ... Google provided me with this:
In my experience Axiom will replace it. I had a dust cap that was loose on one of my M22s. I only noticed it on one series of notes on one song. When I contacted Axiom to ask if I should just glue it back down and they got back to me and said they would ship me a new driver. I still have the old one since technically it still works fine just w/o the dust cap which I finally pulled completely off.
I like your driver Rick. I'll take that as a replacement any day!
When did Rick get a chaufeur?

You could always rip one of yours out and find out...
