If by RCA female adapter you are refering to the type of input on the ep 500 the yes it accepts a rca type connector. This will come from your sub out on your reciever and will connect with a male/male cable.

The EP350 and up come with XLR plugs that take a 1/4" (electrically separate)->RCA adapter to provide a standard unbalanced input. Axiom made this change awhile back to cut down on fixes due to busted off RCA connectors.

Thanks for your anwsers so far.
But all i ask is if the adaptor on the image is supplied when i get my new EP500? wink

I think thats what it means, but beeing a danish viking of sorts, i might misunderstand the meaning.

Put simpel, do i need to go out and buy that adaptor separately.

Nope, you're all set. It is included.

From that page...

"Insert the supplied gold-plated RCA female adaptor into the XLR 1/4 phone in input, and then insert the male cable into the input."

My point exaktly, just warnted to be 100% sure.
I would hate for it to be missing when i get the sub wink

I would be like a little child at christmas, getting that RC car i always warnted and discovering that the batteries are not included
