I purchased the 350 back in August and it appears it isn't working anymore. I checked it with another receiver to make sure that wasn't the issue and it still doesn't work. The green power light on the back still comes on but I am not getting any sound out of it. I checked all the settings on the receiver and they appear to be correct. Am I missing something? Could it be a fuse or would that not allow the power light to be on? If I leave the sub on all the time would that harm it? Any suggestions before I send it in?

Fletch, this calls for a bit of troubleshooting. Try connecting a cd player or ipod/mp3 player directly to the input on the subwoofer that you're currently using. Just connect one of the two stereo leads. This will help determine whether the problem is with the sub or the receiver. Play a song and then adjust the sub's volume knob up and down to see if you hear anything or see the speaker moving. If not, then the problem may be one of the internal fuses or the amplifier in the sub itself. If the sub fails the above test, give Axiom a call.

I connected a RCA Cable from the digital audio output on my blu-ray player to the sub. Put in a movie and cranked up the sub. No sound or visual movement from the sub. Interestingly enough my surround and center channels stopped working briefly and I slightly adjusted my receiver and the sound came back. Maybe I have 2 issues?

Fletch, the sub amp requires an analog, not digital, input. Use the RCA plug cable with an analog output source for the test.

Ah, thanks. I just tried it with an old (but working) DVD player. Plugged RCA cable in the right audio output and nothing. Tried the left and nothing as well. Any other suggestions? I put a call into axiom and left a message, kind of hoping it is an easy fix though. I am guessing that it isn't at this point.

No further simple tests are available. Wait for Axiom's response.

Edit: you've probably already done this, but if not, unplug the sub for a few minutes and replug.

A couple of things to try:

1) If it's on a power bar, turn it off at the power bar and wait a few seconds and turn it back on.

2) Remove the driver and see if there is any sort of loose connection (would give you green light no audio).

3) Double check the voltage (110V vs 220V) on the back of the amp that it didn't mistakenly get switched.
