Does the sub work or no?
If not, could be dead amp or fuse.
Contact Axiom service line. They're fantastic. They'll walk you through diagnostics.

No sound... no fuse that I can see...if I was at work (and not sheltered at home) I would have some resources.
Thanks for the reply. Does axiom sell boards?

Andrew mentioned unplugging and let capacitors drain for 15 mins will reset the protection relay in the subs. Might be worth a shot.

The fuse is located on the right hand side of the power plug. It's under the plastic cover.

Thanks...I never would have seen that...lol
Fuse is good...still ng

Just thought I'd let you know Axiom has a trade-in program. The 175v4 looks different and likely sounds different. I think the amp may have been improved as well. I've heard about problems like yours on these boards but not with v4 subs. Maybe that's indicative of improvements.

I'll celebrate jazzba's good news by upgrading to the new subs that will be announced.

Finally got someone to look at it...it was a bad "positive 12-volt regulator"...he said it overheated...and was surprised there wasn't a heat sink or fan
Posted By: Mojo Re: Ep175v3 no green light - 05/09/22 09:07 PM
Glad you got that fixed. Regulators don't always need heat sinks or fans. Maybe there was another fault that caused it to overheat. Or maybe it's bad design and it should have thermal regulation.

It's just a chip...cooling for the whole ps is what he meant.

The bottom photo shows the v2 heatsink outside the cabinet.

The top photo shows the heatsink moved inside.

Fans are a no no and should be avoided by the designer.

Unfortunately, not on the power supply board.

Well then you know what? You, as the customer, get the benefit of the doubt. Axiom ought to allow you to trade up from your 175v3 to the 125v4. Andrew has said the 125v4 bats as hard as the 175v3! I have two in cherry chestnut and love them.
