I just got around to Bi-Amping my M60s. The link pin that holds the terminals together seemed to be in there really tight and took a bit of hammering to get them out. Once out, the space that was left there how causes the terminals to be loose even when tightened down. Is this how it is supposed to work? Everything sounds fine.
That doesn't sound right at all. You gotta tighten that down! Use the Axiom wrench tool. I have 137 of those wrenches. I give them away to folks who are nice to me.
There is nothing to tighten down. This is the actual terminal. The play is from the space between where the link pin was and the flat bottom where the plastic nut would tighten against.
Well then. Grab a brewski and enjoy!
Why do you feel you need to Bi Amp your 60s?
Why do you feel you need to Bi Amp your 60s?
Because the capability exists and it only took 10 mins of my time. I had all of the cables and my AVR supported it. I figured I would try it out.
Let us know if you hear phat bass.
Reward yourself with another brewski.
Hope you found positive results. In the past I played around with that on 60s and 80s and found little to no affect.
Was that with the Emo or Khartago, Randy?
Trying to remember...lol to many homebrews ago.
I would say possibly, I don't think I had my Outlaw in the mix yet.. I used to like to tweak/test stuff at one time, now I just like to enjoy.
I just like to enjoy too but the damned things have to be performance-tuned first and that takes a lifetime. I need an AI.
