First off, the search engine in this forum does not work. I searched and only products came up, no forum posts. I have a square room with 80 package speakers. I had little bass. I was told to get another sub. I placed it diagonally in opposite corner. Much better. It is a sub I have to power with a monoblock amp. I have 7 monoblock amps I want to free up amp to upgrade to 7.1 and add a powered sub. My ep500 is old school and has a slotted vent at bottom. The new ep500 is sealed. Does this matter?

Think you’ll be fine

Yep. All good. 2x New EP500 would be great. But nothing wrong with mixing if you balance them.

I'm not sure it has ever worked and i've been on here for almost 20 years now (scary).
There was some coding for a custom google search at one point, still up as a sticky thread, but that doesn't work either.

Posting questions works though.

You might trying experimenting by moving the subs slightly along the walls away from the corners to get better performance and less booominess. Ideally center walls across from each other.
