I am about to take ownership of the m3ti (they are somewhere between Can & NYC) I hear so much talk about wiring, bi-wiring, wire ga that I am beginning to get wired. I have an NAD 7255 rec (55 wpc) and a cal audio cl-5 cdc. I don't want to spend as much as the speakers on cable and not a techie. Any suggestions anyone?

Keeping this equation to power, distance, and flexibility will keep you from getting over wired. I would suggest, assuming you are less than 8 feet to each speaker, that a decent 14 gauge stranded cable is going to work great.

You have a similar setup to one of mine in terms of the electronics. I have wired the speakers with 12 gauge cable, with gold plated connectors.
This is a very subjective issue, with varying opinions and points. In my opinion based on testing, listening and measuring, it is beneficial to have a good sized cable. This will not impede or restrict the output. You can find this cable at Home Depot, etc. If you want a low cost brand name, Monster is popular. There are numerous brands at all price points. You should also have good quality interconnects (between amp and CD).

Your system is well balanced, and I would not limit the potential by using bargain basement, or "throw in" cables and connectors.

Do not concern yourself with Biwiring, or Biamping. These can be explained if requested, but you are not in need of installing this.
