I have an HSU VTF-2 sub. I noticed the other day when I raise or lower the volume on my receiver with no source playing that there is a clicking or tapping sound coming from it as the volume is increased or decreased. Is this normal???

Excellent emoticon!! You really already know the answer here. Give HSU a call and they'll know what the problem is. I suspect something is loose, but I'm guessing; they will know.

If it were the STF, rather than the VTF, I would suggest checking inside the cabinet for a stow-away Chinaman.
