Hi Everyone;
I just purchased a new VP150 centre channel and it works great for movies BUT I can't seem to get it to work for DVD Audio and SACD. I have a Yamaha RX-V2400 receiver and a Pioneer 563a multidisc player. Everything seems to be hooked up correctly, RCA cables were double checked, and things seem to be set up properly in both the receiver's menu as well as the menu on the Pioneer...
What am I missing?
Please help...

Thanks
Very mysterious, Rob, but let's throw out some thoughts. First, when you double-checked the cables did you exchange the cable going to the center channel analog input for one of the others on the slim chance that the center channel cable is defective(I assume that you've selected the multi-channel inputs and that the mains and surrounds are working in DVD-A/SACD). If the 2400 is selecting those inputs and the center channel cable is okay then possibly either the center channel analog output on the 563 or the center channel analog input on the 2400 is defective. To be continued.
I know I have one DVD-A disc that does not utilize the center channel.

What disc(s) are you using?
Thanks for the replys guys.

I checked the cables again (Good idea, thanks). All inputs from both the 2400 and the 563a seem to work, but when I send the centre signal to the centre connection on the receiver (the way it should be)... I get centre information sent to BOTH my L and R speakers... Its as if the Pioneer or thinks I want a phantom centre.
I've tried with Several CD's (Dylan - Blood on the Tracks, Pink Floyd - Dark Side..., Ryam Adams - Gold... same problem on all of them)
Is there some menu I'm missing on the Pioneer? - I got the Pioneer a few months before the VP150... Could some initial configuration menu be the culprit? How could I reset that?

Thanks again for the help guys.
Rob
