OK, Another question.
OK, I went from No Multi-Channel Audio to two DVD-A/SACD players in less than a week, and a thought occurred to me.
How much do any of you think it might cost me to have someone make me a switching box that I could hook the two sets of 6 ch. analog outputs to, and then run it into the (single set) of analog inputs on the 2500?
Does not seem like this would present much of a problem.
Is there a reason why this is not feasable, or advisable?
From any direction?
I'm just looking down the road to when I have enough of the Multi-Channel discs, and feel like throwing in 5 and just hitting shuffle. But I do not want to pass on the multi channel play on the Denon.
Interested to hear opinions.

I've been thinking about this same thing myself. So far I haven't found any 6 chan switch boxes (although I haven't tried all that hard yet). My first inclination is to pick up a couple of those composite A/B switches. Put three channels of player 1 in switch 1 A jacks, then the other three channels of player 1 in switch 2 A jacks. Same with player 2 but in B position. I'd really rather have an active or auto switch rather than having to get up and manually twist both dials. Maybe there are some of those beasties, but I've never seen active ones for composite. Again, haven't looked that hard yet.
