Can the Denon 2807 drive the 4 ohm M80s? The 2807 is 200 bucks cheaper than the 3806.
Seems the HDMI capabilities are better on the 2806 since its a recently released product. Thanks for the advice.

The 2807 should have no problems, most the better Denon's work well with the M80's.
Thanks for the quick response. It looks like an amazing receiver for the $$$.
Yes, very favorable reveiws, and at a great price.
I have the 2805 and love it, I'm sure you'll be happy. Although I use m60's, you'll have no problems with the 80's.
I have the 2807 driving M60s, VP150, 2 QS8s and an EP350. I know they aren't the Axiom top line M80's but it blows all my friends HT setups away. It can get very loud and it has a ton of options, the manual is ok if you are willing to read it. I have dvd, xbox 360 and ps2 connected to it then I upconvert all signals that are 480i to 480p through the HDMI to my display. This really works great.
out of curiosity what display do you have?
I have the Sony KDS-R60XBR1, 60 inch LCOS. I'm very happy with it.
Others:
xbox 360
Sony DVD Recorder
Direct TV Tivo HD
I also have the Sony. Let the TV do the video switching/ upconverting. It knows what it wants to see and does an excellent job.
