Axiom Home Page
Hello all, long time lurker, first time poster. I hate to have this as my first post, but here goes. You gotta start somewhere right?
Are there any Phoenix area Axiom owners willing to give an audition? Specifically the QS4/QS8? I did a search and ran across a few posts regarding Phoenix area auditions, but didn't really see any positive responses.
I am looking to upgrade my surrounds and eventualy my whole system and would like to give Axiom a listen prior to purchase. I currently own JBL (S38's S26's and S Center), Denon (3805) and SVS (PB12/ISD-2). If there isn't anybody local willing to audition, can anyone give me their thoughts on JBL vs Axiom?
For the audition, lunch/drinks are on me. I am willing to go to the far East or West Valley, as far north as Prescott and as far south as Casa Grande. A tank of gas is cheaper than buyer's remorse (almost).

TIA for your replies

If you can't find a person to buy from, remember that Axiom has a 30 day money-back guarantee, and if you want to return them you will just have to pay return shipping. And that return shipping is a lot less than a tank of gas now days.

Good luck with your HT!
Did you check the audition thread, I think there is a few people in the Phoenix area? Try sending them a PM, or check with Amie on people that might not be on the list.

Welcome, by the way.
Thanks for the replys. I did a search of the two people in Phoenix, and neither have posted in over a year, so I didn't see much of a point of a PM. I posted on the off chance someone not on the list might see and respond.
I suppose the return shipping might be cheaper than a tank of gas. Hmm, time to put on the thinking cap...

Try sending Amie at Axiom a PM, sometimes she has connections.
I'm gonna be in far Northwest PHX but my speakers will be in submission (it'll just give me more time to appreciate my Axioms more after using my fathers PSB's as a new reference for a few months) for a few months until I move out my parents house into my own place. I also don't have the QS series either. Wish I could be of more help.
Thanks for the help. I did find someone in the far east valley willing to give an audition. I do appreciate all the replies.
Thanks
jim
