Iwould like to upgrade my surrounds to QS8's and would like to hear the speakers first before buying. anyone in the area?

Matt, you should look at the list in the auditioning thread at the top for NY and possibly NJ listings. Unfortunately the one LI member hasn't posted in two years, but you could try PMs. You might also contact Amie at Axiom to see if she could help set something up for you.

If you have troubles finding an audition, you could always do your own audition. Axiom offers a nice 30day in your home guarantee, I'll bet you will never use.

Not out on the island, but about 30 mins. from the Throggs Neck, Whitestone, or Triboro bridges. PM me, if you are still interested. I have the QS8's. Good luck.

Not in LI but in South Brunswick NJ. I just received the system and in the process of setting it up, but you are welcome to come over and listen to them.
