SR, welcome. Looking at the list at the beginning of the Auditioning thread above(which isn't entirely up-to-date)the closest listing to St. Louis is Jacksonville, Illinois. If that seems interesting you could try to make contact by way of a PM. You might contact Amie or Andrea at Axiom to see if there are other possibilities.
If you are ever in the Des Moines, Iowa area, I could do a demo. Of course I am about 5 hours away.

Just offering, but hopefully you will find someone closer.

What speakers are you thinking about (besides the EP500)? I wouldn't be able to help you there, but could help out with M60s, VP150, and QS8s in a 5.1 set up.

Thank you very much for the replys. Des Monies might be little far for me but for now let me try Jacksonville IL.

I am looking to buy the EP 500 7.1 HT package

Sub : EP500 V2 or EP600 V2
Center Speakers: 2 VP 150 V2
L&R Front: M60 V2
Sorround : QS8 V2 (2 pairs)

This is what I am looking to buy . Let me know if you guys have any questions or suggestions.

appreciate all your help.

Thanks

Thanks
I'm south of Des Moines which is 20 minutes closer than Nick's place.
How'd I miss this?

I'm the guy from Jacksonville, IL and it would be my pleasure to demo my Axiom gear for you if you're up for the drive. It's a pretty easy jaunt up 267 through Alton to get to Jacksonville, although you will be leaving civilization and entering the 'Cornfield Zone'.

I don't know where you live in St. Louis, but it's about a 2 hour drive from the Central West End to my home.

See my sig for gear. If any of that interests you, just PM me and we can work out a time.

Peter .. awesome.. I will contact you.

Thanks
SR.
You'll be in good hands with Peter.
Just wanted to post a follow up here...

srajan and his brother stopped by last weekend for a demo.

Things went well. Always great to meet fellow board members, and especially fun to turn someone on to the world of Axiom. They couldn't have been any nicer.

I picked out many songs that highlight the accuracy and tonal control of the M80's. Then I picked out a couple of movie clips to demonstrate how well the speakers are voice matched, and how smooth surround transitions are, as well as dialog and action sequences. Couldn't help but show off the SVS as well (with the advice that the EP500/600 is even better.

Anyway, I think everyone had a good time.

We might have an Axiom convert on our hands.
