Axiom Home Page
I live near Flint, Mt. Pleasant, and Lansing. If anyone would like to do this let me know I'd love to hear them before I commit to a in home trial....thanks I'm a newby here so I'm not sure if I'm doing this right or not lol...thanks!
Michael, welcome. The first step would generally be to look at Michigan listings in the audition thread at the top. For example, there's one listing in the home of that great University at Ann Arbor(guess where I went to school). This may no longer be up to date in that some of those listed may no longer be active and there may be possibilities not on the list. The usual procedure is to try to make contact by way of a PM, but again note that some haven't posted on the board recently and might not check for PMs.

It might be helpful to contact Amie or Andrea at Axiom directly to see if they could assist you in arranging something.
Welcome Foole, \:\)

I'm sure someone will help ya out. Hey John, do you still live in MI?
Never really did, Randy, except when I was attending classes at the University.
Thanks for the info folks, I'll PM those people in Michigan, when the weather gets better! We're getting snowed in up here today.

Go Blue~!!!!!!!!!!!

hikingfoole, you are welcome to audition my axiom m22ti. However, I am located at Westland MI (metro Detroit area).
I'm sure your getting the weather we had yesterday. \:\)
sirquack, looks like you have m80. How do you like it? Did you compare with other speakers before you decided to keep these? Foole, sorry to hijack your tread. :P I am looking to audition the m80.
I started with m60's in 2004 after auditioning many brands locally. It was down to B&W 703's ($$$$$), NHT (can't remember the model). I loved the m60's and for the money it was an easy decision.

I upgraded to the m80's a little over a year ago. The m80's are awesome and have similar characteristics as the 60's. Their benefit, is a little more detail and a little better bass extension, and they can handle oooodles of power (1,000+ watts if you've got it.)
I have the 80s set up over in taylor. E-mail me or reply here as I check in every couple days.
Trying to get the guy a bad case of upgradeitis, and he doesn't even have the 22's yet. \:\)
Audition for M80 is for me. M22 is for foole. My email is jonjv@yahoo.com. I actually sent u a message earlier, 902599. I am free this coming weekend.
I am trying to compare among axiom m80, Rocket 850 and Quad 22L.
I would not call people foolish who own m22's. They are actually pretty awesome bookshelfs that outperform many floorstanding speakers on the market.
I think he's referring to hikingfoole, the starter of this thread.
ah I see, my apologies to junior varsity. \:\)
Apologies accepted, sirquack. I have the m22 myself. It is pretty good but I want more I guess. My addiction and appetite have increased. \:\)
You are looking the right direction with the M80.
But don't rule out the 60's. \:\)
Thanks for the advice. Where did you get the Dazian Cinema Matte White Projection Screen? I checked out their website, feel skeptical.
You can order it from Dazian directly, or I think they have an Ebay store as well. Just built a wood frame and stretched it around the frame and secured it with double faced adhesive velcro.
