I am most interested in a demo of the M80, M60, or M22. Although I wouldn't mind hearing any other model as well.
I am in Duluth, Atlanta but I am willing to travel a reasonable distance to hear these speakers. I like the idea of the 30 return but since I am considering one of the 2 larger models I am afraid that even the return shipping could be on the expensive side. That said if your willing to provide the tunes, I'm willing to provide the wine or beer.
Thanks,
oz
have you checked the Audition thread at the top of this forum by Amie from Axiom?
OZ,

I've been busy so I just caught your post. I would certainly welcome you to listen to my setup BUT....I am in the process of getting packed up for a move. I am supposed to be closing on my new digs tomorrow and will be moving this month. I live in the city (midtown).
RM
Thanks for your response. Congrats on the new digs. Are you staying in town or the Atlanta area? If so maybe we could set it up for after you get settled in your new place. I know what it is like to move and I don't want to upset your schedule. I am, in no rush because I will not be making a purchase any time soon. I anticiipate maybe sometime the end of summer.
Let me know what would work for you.
Thanks again,
Oz
Oz,

Well, things should work out perfectly, then. I am having some trouble with getting the deal closed (tomorrow is the 3rd closing date thus far!) so end-of-summer should be a realistic target date.

I am going to be moving to a new condo right next to City Hall East, if you are familiar with that area.

Again, once I get moved & setup you are welcome to come over and check it out.
Gosh, I know what closings can be like. A buddy of mine just bought a live in/ work in loft down near Trinity somewhere. We are both advedrtising photographers. Are you going to be near Trinity? I haven't seen it yet. That whole area is going through such a transformation. Well I know he went through a lot to get settled. This will be your third try, don't they say third times a charm.
I hope all goes well for you. Please add my name to your address book and contact me when you get settled. I have already added your name to mine, but I won't want to keep bugging you.
Best,
oz
Well, the problem I have now is basically that the developers don't want to sell me the condo for what they agreed to. I made a down payment and signed a contract practically at groundbreaking and now they are selling the same units for 12-15K more than I'm getting it for. There have been some construction issues that they are now refusing to rectify so I have got an attorney friend of mine involved. I'm not worried at all since I do have a contract, I just want to get the damn move over with.

The condos are Ponce Springs at Glen Iris, if you're at all familiar with them. Miller-Gallman is the developer, the same people who built Glen Iris Lofts and other high-profile developments intown. My condo is very small, but I am not doing any creative financing to get it (no LIBOR or ARM). The damn housing market has me scared to death of a bubble burst so I am not extending myself financially.

Anyway, I am not real confident that things will go thru tomorrow, but I know they will soon.
rmhalljr,

I drive buy those condos on North Ave. every day - watching them being built. They look nice from the road. I hear you about the creative financing. Too scary for me. Good luck with the closing.

WHOA.. the squirrel has returned..

still got the pink stove..?

bigjohn
why you lookin' for a match for the grilles?

(sorry, had to do it. nobody's mentioned them for nigh on a week and i can't let a bad joke die.)
Hey, bigjohn. No, the pink stove crapped out on me. I took it apart and looked into fixing it, but the more I looked, the more it looked like a lost cause. I stored it in the shed for about six months and finally kicked it to the curb. Now I have a hole in the kitchen where an oven needs to be. Being single, I have no motivation to replace it just yet - I don't mind the grilling.

Hope all is well.
