NAD uploaded a self-promotional 50th anniversary documentary about their history.

I was never exposed to NAD until my 20's, by which time I had already heard of their quality control issues during the 90's, something they address in an unsatisfactory mea culpa way. And frankly, I will never feel nostalgic for any hifi brand that lacked brushed stainless steel finishes.

Interesting, as I have owned NAD gear since the 1980's, so I will watch.
In terms of finishes, the industry moves from one finish to the next as model years come and go. I dont think you should hold it against them. smile

I remember NAD was very popular in Winnipeg during the 80s and 90s. Their industrial design was very differentiated and owners felt they owned classy gear for a low premium over the competition.

As for now, I shake my head when I see their touch screen. Is this really where their R&D money is best spent? I wonder how many use the touch screen.

Man, Pulp Fiction on 4K Blu-ray looks and sounds phenomenal. Very happy with it.
