I'd love to see an active LFR1100 system with 4xEP800 subs and dual ADA-1500 amps go against the $600K MBL Radialstrahler system in a 30x50x12 room. https://www.stereophile.com/content/mbl-radialstrahler-101e-mkii-loudspeaker

I take it you think $580K of that maybe put to better use elsewhere? Hmmm, Guess we should take a survey:
What would you do with an extra half million+ in the bank?

I'd do 16-channel Dolby Atmos with active LFR1100s and an 800 on every channel and still have lots of change for good causes.

Ahh, I was thinking of something non-audio ... since you just spent $20k on audio stuff. How about a trip to see the sights of the world ... Or paying off your debt and investing the rest ... using the yearly income for something.
I'm sure there have to be some more creative ideas on what to do with it.

I was fortunate to hear the MBL Radialstrahler 101E MKII at Axpona. They were in a very large carpeted room with a sizable audience. And they sounded fantastic! One of the best systems I heard at the show. Way too expensive. Altogether the system in that room was around $145000 dollars. Crazy! But the real question? Is your space in your home large enough to accommodate this system. As fine as it sounded it’s not the one I would choose if cost was no object.
Cheers, Jeff
