Well, you can argue they were free and splurge on an amp upgrade. I can support any and all assumptions you may have about Arcam being a worthwhile investment.

There was an Arcam on the Canukaudiomart in Edmonton but I missed it, hence the reason I was looking at the class AB Crown XLI. The speakers cost enough so I have to keep the amp cost as low as possible or the wife will.....

Hdcp 2.2 and atmos arent doable for $400 quite yet. I'd get something from Canuckaudiomart with that budget. I would stay clear of onkyo.

Sorry, I was hoping you could confirm did you check the polarity visually or did you swap the cable ends and listen?

I'll second PMC as fantastic TL speakers. Spent some time as I auditioned coveting them. Very expensive.

Another option that you can get great deals on but it's sort of a waiting game. Big box stores like Futureshop generally carry two years worth of inventory. So as new stuff comes out, the old stuff gets cleared out at a reasonable price. I pick

So I have done a little searching and found that yes, Salk Sound has a least two models where the TL design is utilized, the Song Tower and Veracity models. Also found that Atlantic Tech is promoting what they refer to as H-PAS that they indicate is

Jordan - Accessories4less is a great place for refirb gear. I've used them for a couple of Denon amps plus a Boston & Canton sub with good success. The refirb option gives you an opportunity for an upper level AVR at a mid level price and the

Greetings, I'm getting to the end of my basement home theatre renovation and could use a little advice on AVRs. I've installed in-wall and in ceiling M3's, an in-wall VP100, and paired that with an SVS PB-2000 (12" / 500 watt rms) for a 5.1 se
