The trailer for the next installment looks promising.

If only the name wasn't painfully stupid.

It'll be fab!

Thanks for the link!

Yeah, the name is stupid, but it's less so after a while.

Looks good to me! While he's too new for me to make any solid judgments, I think Daniel Craig has potential to be a great Bond.

Of course, a Nov 7 release means that I'll be enjoying it sometime in May of 2009 on Blu-Ray. \:D

That does look good!

I guess since I grew up with Roger Moore as James Bond I'm really ready for a rough and tumble type of Bond. Daniel Craig does it good.

They also like the r to be lowercase, but it's all good.

trailer = meh.

I like the Bond series. But we already have the Borne series to take itself too seriously. I like Craig's tougher version of Bond, but where's the camp? From the trailer, it looks like there is too much "intrigue" and not enough fun. But, then again, when was the last time a trailer actually told the truth about a movie.

The original books, and Sean Connery's version of Bond were not that much about camp.

FWIW did you guys know that Mr. Flemming has commisioned someone to write another Gond book. Its some sort of one time commemorative deal.

Is that his distant cousin--Jimmy Gond, Agent Double-O-Not-Quite-Good-Enough?

It might be a short book.

That would be an entirely different kind of movie then.

Might still have explosions, though.
