Nick, did you try to read any of their articles, or descriptions of products...? I tried and failed!... It hurt to read it.....!.. I still don't know what the laptop accessorie they are selling does... It has something to do with flying though....

I don't read them. I used to skim them years ago when I found them humorous, but any more I just skip to the specs, or google search the product to find out more about it.

Honestly, I haven't purchased anything from a Woot Off in years. I am not that big of an impulse buyer, and I've never received anything worthwhile in a Bag Of Crap after getting over 10 of them. Never again.

I like Woot. You have to scroll past the cute write-up to get to the meat of the product specs. I buy something maybe once a week on average, most recently a very nice CRKT knife that was twice the price anywhere else I searched.

OMG! The knife, sitting on my desk yesterday, has ALSO turned into a bra!

Now, if I could only call my pharmacy to get this filled....

For those that are interested, there will be a 2 day Woot-Off coming up starting at midnight tonight central time.

This time, it will be infused with bacon-themed items, whatever that means.

For those that don't know what I Woot-Off is, it is where the "original" daily-single-item-sale web site sells a large number of items, one at a time, but when one sells out, instead of having to wait until the next day, they throw up a new item for sale.

Check it out at Woot.com

D-Link DGS-1005G 5-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch (Amazon.com)

I'm using these, as well as the 8-port, and I've been happy. Dropped to $19.99 right now, but it probably won't last long.

The Logitech Harmony 1100 is $159.99 in the VIP store right now. I don't remember off-hand how to join. Tom, do you?

I don't, Charles. I have bought some stuff from them over the years, and now I just periodically get the VIP newsletters. I always thought everyone who was on their email list was a VIP.
