Well I have had them for about 3 or 4 weeks now. So far I am very impressed. They have a better range than my old JBL's, and sound more natural. They do seem to blend in extremely well. I was worried about how they would sound with my Paradigm F/L/C. They work beautifully together. I am extremely pleased with my purchase, and would recommend them to others. They were boxed very well, and the shipping was fast. Even though I ordered from the Outlet, I did not see anything wrong. The hardest part of the whole thing was waiting on them to ship from the Outlet store. They were well worth the wait in the end.

Thanks to everyone here for answering my questions when I was looking into the QS8's.

Glad you like them Smitty, many have found the QS8s to blend well with other speakers besides Axiom's (ie detailed sound). It's hard to find anything wrong with the FO speakers, as most of us find out, just the waiting time can be difficult for some! Stick around and keep us informed, or if you have any questions...there's good help here as I've found out.

IMHO the 8s are Axioms best speaker.

Maybe the best surround available.

Yup and yup. So far I have only found a slight flaw on one speaker. I'm amazed at the quality of what they ship as b stock.

The wait is a killer.

You would think that being in my forties that a small wait like that would not be a big deal. I was also waiting on an A2-300 sub from ED at the same time. I don't know if waiting on two things made it worse or better. I was going back and forth checking both web sites pretty much daily. They arrived within about 4 days of each other. First the sub, and then the 8's. These two last pieces of my HT have made a huge difference in my setup. People are blown away when they hear my system.

So you're happy with the A2-300? I've thought about adding it to my computer system.

Smitty,
I recently received 4 QS8's. With the sides, I tested them tilted 25º and found the low freq. lost 20Hz per what Audyssey sets. With the wall mount 'T' brackets Audyssey set the x-over at 90Hz, vs. 110Hz tilted. My sides are back to flat against the wall.

What size, specs and mounting location were your old JBLs? My old in-wall 8 1/4" Kevlar woofer sides sounded pretty good before. Now I have the Q's there. I may pop the in-walls back in just before return time, just as a confirmation of improvement. So just curious what you are coming 'from' for your sides.

I am using the t brackets. My jbl's were basically mounted flat also. The jbl's I had before only had 2 3" mids with a tweeter. I believe that Audyssey set mine up at around 80. I have my fronts set to 60 and everything is fine. As to the A2-300 for a computer system, I hope that it is your my system. The A2-300 is a lot of sub for the money. I have it close to my sitting position, but I can feel it move my pant legs.
