I have to forgive David Duchovny his transgressions because he's hilarious when he's on Letterman. And Amy Sedaris is about to be on. Talk about a one-two punch.

How to Train Your Dragon on Blu-ray.
Very fun audio on this one. Whether it's the huge wooden doors moving, the dragon rumblings, the wind, the thunder, or the blasts of fire, there's a lot to excite your subs, and there's also plenty of use of the surround channels. I'm sure I'll be using this one to show off my system. Gorgeous visuals throughout as well. The movie itself is pretty decent, too. |

Community and Bored to Death.
Community is becoming more consistently funny. I like it. Bored to Death isn't doing a whole lot for me. It has brief moments of okay, that's kind of funny, but overall, I'm not terribly impressed, despite liking plenty of the people involved. |

Behind Enemy Lines
This doesn't feel like a modern movie. I'm not saying this in a bad way... or in a good way... but it just seems likes it would have been more at home in the '80s, from the actual look of the film to the writing and directing. It was entertaining enough. As far as the audio, there were some intense explosions. |

Horton Hears a Who!
Another good one for bass. Also, the movie wasn't as annoying as I thought it would be. |

Just finished watching 9 . Co-produced by Tim Burton with voice acting of #9 by Elijah Wood. This movie is full of SERIOUS surround and LFE goodness. Picture quality is top notch as well. Highly recommend this movie. Not a bad plot for a short animation style movie as well.

re. Behind Enemy Lines
This movie's been on cable a few times lately...some parts of the movie were OK, but I agree with you on the 80's assessment, Charles. The ending in particular had a whiff of 80's fromage, typical Hollywood superhero BS, not unlike the silly Stallone/Schwarzenegger movies of the time.
