We've got a small local brewer in SW Minnesota who is managing to make some incredible beers. They are growing their own hops and trying to use locally supplied grains

http://www.braubrothersbrewing.com/

Their MooJoos is a Oatmeal Milk Stout that has bowled me over. I've got a couple cases on the porch that may not see the New Year the way it's going down.

Tom, last night I tried the Celebration Ale and thoroughly enjoyed it. I made a mental note to get some at the store based on your post.

I have nothing to add except I just found 3 six-paks of Corona in the garage.

I picked the wrong year to not be in SF for Beer Week.

Crikey Peter, that looks good! I should NOT have read that post before going to lunch.

Probably going to restock today from Broadhead Brewery , a local microbrew startup that makes some good stuff. I really enjoy getting my beer in growlers - makes me feel like I'm running moonshine on the way home!

Plus, you can put dried flower arrangements in the bottle afterwards!

At least, that's what I would have to tell Joyce to sell her on the idea if she didn't like microbrews even more than I do!
