A perfect example of why i do not buy anything at those home shopping networks.
I believe that salesman was trying to show how tough those blades were was he not?
Oh the irony.

I once saw a home network sale for a ladder. Easy to fold up item. The guy climbed up the ladder on the set and pretended to dust something then started to climb back down and wiped out.

That one made Business 2.0s list of the 101 dumbest moments in business of the last year.

But boy, was that sword thing funny. I think the cameraman was cutting away from any possible gore to have a close up of the blade. Ya know, it's pretty, so people will ignore the talking and buy the swords!

What gets me is they didn't cut the audio from his mike. Was the producer asleep or something? Also, didn't they have any medical people (or anyone!!) available to come help the dude? The other host just stands there!

WOW! Is Federer a tennis God or what? He played so smart and very cunning by mixing up the backhand with slices and "over the ball" drives a la Agassi except better.

Safin and Agassi and Rodick were no slouches either. They all brought thier "A" games to this tournament. Safin seems to be very focused and seems to have really matured and just may be out of his "self destruct" phase. This level of play and talent makes me really look forward to the coming year in tennis.

Agassi seemed really down in the post match interview after the loss to Safin. I hope he doesn't retire. This was by far some of the greatest tennis I've ever seen in a major.

It was also some of the worst line calling I've ever seen in a major. I couldn't beleive how many bad calls there were with no help from the chair umpires. None the less, this was a classic tournament.

It was indeed a great tournament. Federer is amazing. He can play so many different games, and knew exactly how to play Safin.

It's great to see Safin back though, isn't it?

Holy $#!*! My god, don't you all just long for the days when bands were just telling us to worship the devil?

That... is just total crap!

OK, so who else saw the "surprise guest" during the Superbowl half-time show? (The preceding link may be NSFW, but it was on national TV, so it must be safe, right? )

CBS and MTV (they produced the halftime show) are officially apologizing, but rumor has it that the stunt was preapproved.

That whole half time show was in bad taste with all the mock humping going on, so the "breast flop" wasn't any worse nor was it surprising. I'm no prude and I appreciate a bare breast as much as the next guy but I'm sure a lot of kids were watching and that's not cool. Maybe they (CBS) will let Hooters produce the half time show next year. I bet MTV won't be.

That game was so good I thought I was watching the CFL

Canadians are used to breast shots (and more) on tv so I don't think it had the same shock factor for us. I just think the whole MTV experience is a little out of place for the halftime show. Then again who wants Barry Manalo.
