My VP150 sits on a shelf under my TV. I aimed the VP up by putting 2 rubber door stop wedges under the speaker.
Wedge - a very simple tool.

I think Hockey Pucks are the preferred method.

Only if you are Canadian or prefer the authentic Canadian sound, those pucks add that certain something to it.

So I guess simply untwisting the rubber feet to raise the front a bit won't work?

Originally Posted By: bdpf So I guess simply untwisting the rubber feet to raise the front a bit won't work? Hi bdpf, Untwisting the rubber feet is not a solution and should be avoided. Doing so will push the metal insert inside the enclosure; the rubber surface of the rubber foot needs to be in full contact with the enclosure. The VP180 has a flat side (usually used as the bottom one) and its opposite side usually the top one) is angled. You can set the VP180 on its angled side to be used as the bottom one. Doing so will direct its output upwards. You can use the rubber feet to decouple it from its resting surface if you wish. Hockey pucks are also a perfect alternative and might even work better for Canadians and hockey fans. Edited by Jc (10/16/10 05:25 PM)

Couldn't you use a spacer of sorts in between the foot and the cabinet so ie it's no different than if it were normally mounted? as long as you have sufficient thread engagement(at least 1 1/2 times or greater than the diameter of the thread), I think you'd be ok.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

Hi,
Make sure that your spacer will be supported by the enclosure surface and not the metal insert. You could use longer bolt if you need a thicker spacer.
