I bought this system back in 2006 except the center speaker configuration was a little different than what is offered today. The speakers are driven by a Denon 3808-CI receiver. I have a 7000 cubic ft home theater with a scissor-truss ceiling. My 10ft high walls are slightly off parallel so sound bounces off at diff angles. The 80-m series easily fills the room. The sound is so realistic that we often get fooled when a phone rings or baby cries during a movie, is it real or the movie. We use this system approximately 5 hours daily for the last 16 years. The woofer pre-amp failed March 2022, but Axiom quickly sent a replacement. Great customer service and only one issue after all those hours. I would highly recommend this company.

I have the original epic 80 with the vp 150 center (3 5-1/4 woofers, 2 tweeters), and 12" ported sub. I don't think I ever left a review and I know this series has been greatly improved, but I wanted to leave a review here for mine. I couldn't be happier with a set of speakers. I have these powered by 200 watt each outlaw audio monoblocks and these speakers handle everything I throw at them. I'm mostly impressed with the mains. I love turning off the subs and listening to music in stereo. It's amazing how much bass the 6-1/2" woofers put out. Granted all 4 have the same surface area of a 12" sub (with 4 coils) but you still wouldn't expect the lows they can hit even at very high volumes. Now when I switch to 5.1 stereo with subs on it blows you away. Pretty much too much power for my 16x16 foot room. I plan on buying a pair of QS8's and upgrade to 7.1. Excited to hear what 7.1 DTS-HD MA sounds like. Thanks Axiom for all the incredible sounding music and movies.
