Here is a
linkto an old post which has other embedded links regarding reviews of the M60s. This includes a link to my original review the day i received my pair.
They are definitely as clear as the M22s (same tweeter) and have a nearly identical midrange, just more of it (larger drivers, larger tower).
The extended bass range was the only real frequency difference that i noticed.
And again, as Ian stated sometime ago, the M80s in comparison have more extended bass than the M60s but are otherwise identical in sound and can play louder.
