Not all of us are but I agree with your statement. In my years on this board the majority feel that a receiver will do just fine. In most cases it will but for those of us that have dabbled with separates...........every now and again, that theory is proven wrong!
But what do I know, I'm one of those people that laughs when I hear all electronics sound the same. The more stuff I try, the more that statement is proven wrong time and time again.
