sushi is darn fast at replying today,
I have placed the QSx surrounds on shelves before. In fact, that is where i have one of mine placed right now.
If you go to the
axiom wallofame and scroll down to my first HT pics entries, you will see the QS8 sitting on its shelf.
However, as sushi mentioned, put some little rubber feet underneath them to lift up the bottom so the underside woofer can be heard. I used some 3/4" rubber furniture feet from Canadian Tire (also found at Walmarts, Kmarts, and many grocery stores).
