That must sound very good indeed, David; I'm familiar with Brendel's earlier performances of those with Marriner.

Today the mailman brought another Romeo and Juliet DVD which I played immediately. A very lavish production using choreography by Nureyev which differs a bit from the MacMillan version(Eagling-Ferri)I've had, with of course the same glorious Prokofiev music. Great music, terrific dancing.
