My question isn't really about a particular model, more a basic question about all current Yamaha receivers in general.

Do yamaha receivers send a signal to the subwoofer in 2 channel stereo mode while the front speakers are set to small?

Also, what is the factory set crossover in yamaha receivers that dont allow you to change the crossover. I thought I remember reading that it was 90Hz but I cant remember.
