Had a pleasant, relaxing day with my wife and kids. Then, had some delicious wood-fired, neopolitan pizza with them and my mom. My wife is giving me a new bowling ball (not with "Homer" engraved) which I have yet to buy. I used to bowl well; now I bowl a few times a year and hope for the best.
Had La Fin du Monde with homemade apple pie (a la mode, natch) for dessert. I am now ready to enjoy my two fingers of Maker's and a fine H. Upmann with tunes on the patio.
Life is good. Thank you again for helping to make this day special for me.
