This topic has actually been covered a few times already, but I'll indulge you since I already barked at you.
The v2 naming doesn't refer to a specific change. Axiom felt that enough improvements had been made to the speaker line since the original "ti" debut to warrant a change in name. The only external difference you'd see is possibly the binding posts, but again, many non-v2 speakers will already have the improved posts.
