Congratulations on the system. Are you using the M2's for surrounds? If so, you should check out the QS8's. You will be...using my thesaurus... astounded

As for the sub, as long as you get a good one it will make a difference at all sound levels. I find at low volumes for music especially it adds what I'm looking for.
