Make sure you are not using some DSP settings that you shouldn't be using
For the record, I am a big fan of Dave Matthews Band, HUGE to say the least, but after playing the music on my M22s (his older albums like Before these crowded streets and Crash) they didn't sound half as good as in the car. Crappy thing about the M22s is that they represent what was recorded with acuracy. I have other albums that are just simply amazing and sound better than in the car.

If it is not working out for you, I would suggest trying out the M3s, they are more "forgiving" than the M22s.
