Brady, the 875(and 905)have the Reon video processor, which the 805 doesn't. This is generally recognized as the best video scaler(for standard definition TV and DVDs)available in receivers now. How significant this would be to you would depend, as usual, on how good a scaling job your TV itself would do in comparison to what the receiver would do.
