If you like to hear your vocals more/equal, to the music, you will want the M80 or M82.
I had written about the M82 delivering the best of both worlds, when a cd sounds poor, just disconnect the M22s and the forward presence is gone and some of the mids and highs are now blended with the lows, smoother sounding, less harsh. But I am just too used to the M22 detail.
Even though I really enjoyed the M60 sound, I still felt like I was missing some thing with them on their own. The M22s brought back what I thought I was missing and a plus was after the session with Mojo I knew the M82 sounded better than the M80. But in the end, as I stated, the thought of 4 speakers to better the sound of the M80 and a possiblity of a crash wayed too much on my mind. I also have to confess that the
wall of sound in my smallish room was a tad intimidating even to me.
