Giving my fellow blues fans a heads up....

The new - 2007 Crossroads Festival - is out on DVD (ordered mine already) with what looks to be a great lineup, except I'd like to trade some of the Vince Gill, Sheryl Crow and Willy Nelson time on more Jeff Beck and Sonny Landreth time.

Also for my fellow SRV fans...

Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble's - Pride and Joy - that some of you may have on VHS is now out on DVD. I received my copy this past weekend along with the new - Solos, Sessions and Encores - CD. The DVD is certainly a must have item for the SRV fan, track 6 'I'm Leaving You (Commit A Crime)' live from '87 is exceptionally good ... I'd love to see Jimmy release that complete New Orleans concert on DVD.
The CD is 14 songs of Stevie doing session work and jam alongs with other artist such as Johnny Copeland, A.C. Reed, Lonnie Mack, Jeff Beck and etc.. a great addition to your SRV collection

One more item...

I came across this concert - New Orleans Concert: The Music Of America's Soul - is out on HD DVD, looks promising and I wouldn't mind giving it a try but I'm also curious if anybody has seen it?

As always, I'm looking for good blues related videos and Cd's if anybody has some recommended titles to share. \:\)
