There seems to be an ever-growing legion of happy 3808 owners in the forum (I will also be one very soon!!!
). When I ran across something this weekend which is pretty neat, I thought I would make a separate thread so it doesn't get lost.
A gentleman on AVS has written a piece of software he is calling
Command3808 that can be downloaded and opened on a PC. It is a multi-tab executable that allows you to do all of the 3808 settings via your PC
AND SAVE DIFFERENT CONFIGURATIONS! I pulled it down and looked at - pretty neat. It apparently works with the 4308 as well.
He is working pretty hard to take input, fix bugs and add features. I suspect that he has an intention to sell the thing at some point, but it is getting some nice comments.
The software is in the first post and can be downloaded, but you will want to read the entire thread (not real long yet).
