I've been searching the forums but haven't seen an answer to my question. First time poster
I have a small bedroom that I'd like to use for a small home theater and listening room. The room is small maybe 12' X 9 X 8'. I don't want to overload the room and don't want to over buy. I was thinking of the Epic Grand 500. Would this be overkill for a room this size? I'll probably pair it was a Denon 3808. Any advice for a first time buyer? I have about 4,000 to spend and wanted to get quality pieces instead of using my current HTiB system which I've had for about three years now. After I make a decision I'd like to also do the setup myself. I new to all this, do you think this is something I could pull off. I work on computers and pick-up quickly. Any recommended sources of information for a newbie.
