You have not heard wrong. Listener Supported is one of my favorites. It was my first concert DVD purchases so I tend to underestimate it now.

Here is another that should have been forefront in my mind but I missed it.
Fleetwood Mac - The Dance. Another one of the earlier concert DVDs often acclaimed for it's exceptional sound.
