Well, this is not a pleasant way to rejuvenate an old thread but in the category of "your not alone," my company just announced yesterday that they are laying off 500 management staff. That's about 15% of total management staff.

I'd like to think that because I received the highest possible performance review last year that I have a chance of beating those odds but I will certainly be glad when this is all over.
