http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f10/fs-allessandro-ms2i-389991/I would get a nice amp to go with the MS2's, even if they are easy to drive. I'm sure we can talk about that more :-). I posted on head-fi as well. We can leave the discussion about the 770's there.
As for the MS2's, $250 is a decent price, but bear in mind they come new at $300. And the guy is shipping to you from Canada (shipping cost), and I would not put much value to the recabling since its arguable that it makes a difference. If you can haggle him down closer to $200, I'd do it.
225's are also very nice. I can spot differences in them and the MS2's, but then again I have a pretty nice equipment setup. I would say go for the 225's, 325i's, or the MS2/MS2i's. Try that sound, see if you like them.
